Selected and edited by Ruth Berg, Father and Son:
The Short Stories of John and David Updike features short stories
by both John and David Updike, each writing about the same small
events in their lives but from their own very different points of
view. Both John (the Father) and David (the son) studied art and,
as writers, both "paint" with their words with "a
sensitivity to character and place and an elegiac sense of the seasons
of life." (Publisher's Weekly)
Readers Don Wildy and Tom Contursi read several Father/Son Updike
short stories, including In Football Season, Agawam,
and His Mother Inside Him.
