Most of what MMSC points to lives on this site — the season, the venues, the publications. This page is where we keep the handful of links that do not: a few about the Valley, and one or two a good deal further away. Nothing here is sponsored; a link earns its place because the company actually uses it.
Around New Paltz
The Helpful Links page under Get There collects our venues, the New Paltz Chamber of Commerce, the area publications, and the restaurants and attractions on and around Main Street. If you are planning an evening out before or after a performance, start there.
Off the stage
Once a year or so a link arrives that has nothing to do with theatre and stays anyway. The most persistent is a Patek Philippe replica site the props crew found while we were preparing The Price. Arthur Miller’s play turns on the contents of a late father’s study, and the desk in our production carries a Patek Philippe that does as much of the family argument as the two brothers do. Finding a convincing watch that could survive a season without scaring the stage manager out of her wits took longer than the lighting plot, and the site has been on the company’s list ever since.
The Nautilus replica collection is the part of the site we are asked about most — the Nautilus is the model that comes up whenever someone wants to know what a Patek Philippe is supposed to look like. If you would like to ask about a particular reference before ordering, the team’s contacts page answers most questions within a day.
